I do not feel this is correct. In the thread in question, no one called for a permanent ban on Echo419. Please do not imply there were ulterior motives against Echo419. Many members were curious why one member was given one punishment and another was given a more serious punishment.

The details of that have been clarified somewhat, if not to everyones satisfaction.

There are different punishments for different circumstances, even if the same rule is broken. This is up to the moderator, and the other moderators pay attention. If there is a good reason to overturn it, it will be, but we allow each other leeway as well. Consistency that everyone cries about, is senseless. Sometimes you send someone to jail, and sometimes you sentence someone to community service, for technically the same crime. And there is good reason to do this.

Squid. If you challenge another decision, you will be permanently removed if you are wrong.

Because some members have been here longer and have more seniority and special privelidges...right?

And why should squid be permed for not agreeing with you? Whats wrong with questioning authority? Or are you just so good that you'll never make a mistake?

You are a special case. You get banned so often, a normal 1-day ban would be shrugged off by you. The threat of a longer ban may get some reaction out of you. But apparantly you are incapable of learning your lesson, regardless.

The next one is permanent. Break a rule, you're gone. Stir the pot, you're gone.

            Yes, that's correct.

No, of course not you professional victims. Z-Man is a perfect counter-example.

Almost forgot. Squid gets to join the group with a 30 day ban.
