However, the law doesn't specify age differences between the consenting partners so, yes, an adult COULD have sex with a 14 year old. HOWEVER....

The adult can not have any control or influence over the minor. Aditionally there are other laws under which the adult could be tried and convicted. Recent sordid trials in the Quebec city area are testament to that.
