    who uses VoiP?

I have been thinking about switching my phone service from verizon to a VoiP provider. More than likely either Vonage or Lingo. They both have good cheap plans that will work great for me. However, i'd like to hear from you guys the good/bad/ugly from your experiances with Voip?

I haven't really had any troubles so far with mine, had it since August (Cablevision). Only glitch was for about two weeks when I would call someone they couldn't hear me on the other side, I would have to make a 2nd call & then everything was fine. Other than that it's been good

        1. Find out how they will handle 911 calls from the VoIP phone. Might surprise you.

        2. If your current phone service was as reliable as your internet service, would you be happy with it?

        3. Think it is irritating when your online game lags? Try it on a phone call.

I work in the telecom industry, and sell commercial VoIP systems and services. I wouldn't get it for my home just yet. Your local service provider might be the greatest at it, and I wouldn't know. Check around first.
