Blink-182 break up?

Yeah they weren't very good. I suck at guitar and I could easily play any of there songs with little practice.

and "always" is done with a capo on the 2nd fret so if u dont have that then dont try

frankly when i replied on here i didnt plan on having it turn into a flame war... so much for this being the "friendly" corner. but o well, it's just a thread meant to inform those who do like blink 182 that they do plan on breaking up (even though travis claims that they are takin a break and havent guaranteed anything)

the only thing i can listen from them is their live cd. cuse its funny as hell with the jokes at the end

they are a good band and all but to many people are like " THEY ARE THE BEST PUNK BAND EVER"

and i can say NO to that cuse they have no politics or any refrence of punk what so ever. yes they may have a punk sound from time to time.

like one of my favorit bands goldfinger their old stuff was more punk is and now they have more of a pop sound with punk like lyrics and im still more of their old stuff

now i have been sick and tired watching mtv and kids all over schools like this is the best band and the band sings about not getting layed or lossing a girlfriend. to me i cant stand that kind of music talking about loosing loves and they cant get any

listen to some of pennywise and bad religion and read their lyrics!!

for the record, thet added the 182 to the end of their name as to not conflict with another band named blink at that time. not to sound cool. im sad to see them go, ive grown out of them, but i still enjoy their music now and then. Overplaying is what killed them in the public eye, same with most bands. I love greenday, but the overplaying of the song Boulevard of Broken dreams, has almost made me hate them, and i loved that song before it was released.

Anybody who's claiming they don't like Blink because they're not punk enough, or because OTHER people like them too much, is complete and utter crap. Umm, okay, so you don't think they're punk, wonderful! You can still enjoy them (as I do). Does it piss you off that other people really enjoy them? Maybe it pisses me off that you're freaking obsessed with Napoleon Dynamite (no maybes on that, it's true).

Make your own goddamn opinions, but make them for the right reasons, and don't try and cram them down my throat.

ive never really "liked" them but i listen to theyre stuff evry now and then but they were my girlfriends favorite band and she wasnt happy last night when i caledl her and told her that they broke up. ( i saw it on fuse when i got home from school its always on when im bored)
