House Crawl

Im sure many of you know what a pub crawl is, going bar to bar with a big group of people. Well last night was our house crawl. Each house had a differnt drink. First house was kamakazis, second house was wine, third was white russians, 4th was tequila with a splash of margarita mix. I never made it to that last 2 houses so i dont know what they had. But if anyone wants a party idea and has a group of 30-40 this is a great idea. just know that more people will join the group as your going so plan accordingly. Also, having a keg or 2 at everyhouse isnt a bad idea.

I've heard of something similar in small northern towns called a snowball party.

You need houses in walking distance, or lots of taxis, though.

They were all in the same neighbor hood. They did arrows before but it kinda confused people.

And have Designated Drivers of course.

Well my car has a dead battery and they had drivers. It was through a club, and they offer free stuff to sober drivers so its kinda cool.

here in madison, we kinda do some stuff like that at the Mifflin block party.

the whole block gets shut down, and the cops all patrol the area. if youre in the street drinking, they dump your cup, and push you back to the sidewalk. unless you start a fight or something, they dont check id's either. each house on the block is only allowed 4 kegs however, because, i believe it was last year, several houses had about 20-30 kegs, and were therefore running illegal taverns.

there were no police, so its awesome. The area we had it around is kinda far from campus, the police usually chill around the frat houses. I just saw a video of about 100 of us going through a grocery store singing a song.

We've done that. We have like 30 frats at our school, and almost all of them have houses. Being an engineering school, we need to drink away the pain caused by all the school work.

In my old fraternity we used to have an "Around the World" party where each room in the house (rooms were 2-3 guys per room) would make a different drink, and people would go from room to room. It was a good time.
