    Mp3 Players?

I'm in the market and was wondering about suggestions. I dont want to spend a truckload of money but I would like a nice MP3 player. Anything under 300 i'll look at, except iPod Shuffle. I am totally against a product that boasts its best feature is something introduced 10 years ago on my CD Player.

      $199 - 4GB

      $249 - 6GB

Learn how to set up and use your iPod touch. Find all the topics, resources, and contact options you need for your iPod touch.

      $299 - 20GB

Also, it's called marketing. Every company on earth does it. Get used to it. It sucks, but hell, it's life

I have a Philips/Nike PSA200 MP3 player for working out in the gym. I like it other than the battery door comes off easily.

I think the Rio MP3 players are nice because they have expandable memory via SD cards.

The carbon will smack the iPod mini in battery life, weight, size, and sound quality.

iPods do look awesome though, and are easy as hell to use, not to mention all the accesories that third parties make for em.

Some websites are reporting the new new 2nd gen iPod mini has up to 22 hours of battery life.

hmm, havn't really looked into the new iPods, just basing my opinions on the older ones, which didn't really impress me. Good food for thought, thanks for the new info.

Look at the sony nw-hd3. 13,000 tracks, 28 hour battery like 13mm thick by 95mm wide (I think) and really light, plus it looks good

I have a 40gig/4Gen Ipod and its still working after a pretty mean water/mud/freezing bath. It was in my car, the morning after an accident at the impound lot, stuck in mud and ice. I got it out, washed it off a bit, put it in a thing of silica for a day, and it works perfect again.

I love it, but many hate them. If you dont want the iPod, go look at the iRiver. Its kind of the 'anti-ipod'. Its black, same number and stats if Im not mistaken, I just would rather trust HP/Apple then some other company. But thats my opinion.

ive got a creative zen xtra

                        $220 for 30 gigs
                        250 for 40 gigs
                        300 for 60 gigs

but then you can prolly find them cheaper if you look around some
I have never had any problems with any creative products, including this and I use and abuse it too.

I have a 1Gig Sony Minidisk player. It's not one of the biggest holders out there, it only holds 45hours of music, but it lasts an unreal amount of time on a single AA battery. Its a great player, and pretty cheap too. I paid $279 CDN funds prolly close to $200 USD

Looks like i'm going with either the Mini Zen or a mini Ipod. I was never against Ipods, just the Ipod shuffle. The rest of my karta fund is going towards a beginner bass guitar .
