    Car Audio Ideas

Finally finishing a project car. It still needs a sub system. Right now the audio is a pair of 6x9 with a hundred watts constant to each and a pair of 4.5s with 30 watts constant.

What would you guys do for subs? 8/10/12? Single/Dual? Box/Tube? Power?
There's all kind of songs about babies and love gone right, but for some unknown reason nobody wants to play them tonight.

I see I'm not the only one that browses THR and AO (my THR username is zahc).

Its going into a 72 Cutlass with a hot 350 and dual pipes.

Right now the 6x9 and 4.5s are JBL but I'm having to replace the 6x9 cause one went bad. I'll probably go with Sony, Panasonic or another JBL if I can find a set that can handle 100 W constant.

Amp is a California something I think. Its blue and from Crutchfield.

I'll be getting a second amp for the subs if they aren't powered

I figured I could get a wide spectrum of replies on AO and THR. The demigraphics are a wee bit different

            nice.

i have JBL 6x8's in my truck. they sound soo nice.

not really sure what to recommend as subs for it though. Kickers are always dependable and well priced. im not an expert at this stuff but my truck sounds nice with a pair of 12's encased in a ported bandpass box and 4 JBL door/rear speakers.

I like anything and everything Alpine makes, even if some of there stuff can get pricey. Try looking on Ebay for some subs, they have some killer prices on new equipment. Just make sure you take note of the shipping charges before you buy.

Dual 12" JL (not JBL, JL) - depending on how much you want to spend... JL - W6v2

Personal opinion, I think JL has some of the best sounding systems out there, anything made by them.
