AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I'm very surprised that this thread is still open..... So in the spirit of AO...
In before the lock
erm, not sure why... alchohol is legal for people over 21 years of age. OP is asking for advice, because he has limited experience with alcohol. Every response has mentioned restraint. Every one. On top of that, you linked to some real fun alcoholism statistics.
I don't see anyone rushing OP to "shotgun three 40's bro" or even the ubiquitous "gotta take 21 shots, its your 21st birthday."
Relax.
God....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.

Front, there is no way you can appreciate Goose or Ketel One unless you drink the swine as well.
My recommendation. Try a bit of everything. Get a whole lotta small bottles and take your time.
My favorite scotch is the 14 year old Oban.
But it took a long time and ALOT of scotch to realize why. You can just find the something you like and go with it but unless you learn about the differences of it you will never understand the "why".
For me, I took a few trips to Scotland, toured a few distillery's and learned all about it. Knowing that I can explain to someone that the Oban 14 year old single malt is placed somehwere between a highland speyside and an islay.
Really, don't worry about quality right now. It's all about quantity.
Return to the free market. Get rid of all government regulations and let society make it's own decisions. Time and again the relaxing of government regulations has increased profits, innovation and the economy.
