    Strength help

In nine hours I get my cast off finally.
In my wreck I broke my wrist. Anyone know how to gain strength back quickly.
I like to shoot darts alot and my good shooting hand is the one I broke. I wanna get back to darts, paintball, shooting pool, and everything stupid I can think of as fast as possible.
And if they try to put another cast on me it will take nine interns and a sedative to do it.
I will take a hostage this time .

there is a "whizzy" wrist strengthener available (like a gyroscope) it's not too expensive and it improves finger strength, wrist and forearm strength....

    might be worth looking into?

got it off but they gave me a brace to wear for a month.
I am proud to say this is the first thing I have typed in three months using two hands.

Man I know how you feel I broke my right hand twice and my left hand once all fighting. Heres what ive learned since I always have to recover fast.

The one time I had to have surgery, it took forveer for my hand to not be sore. To this day when its cold outside it always aches because I have a metal plate in their so I hope you dont have anything like that. This took the longest to heal.

Both of my boxers fractures were really bad, huge ugly brakes. My most recent one happened in the middle of my season and I had to finish the year with a cast on my hand but it wasnt too bad. What I do for those is a lot of gripper things. I took all my casts off early but it takes some sertious therapy. Bend your wrist in the direction it doesnt want to move. All those sore thing that come when you turn it have to be worked out. If the doc says your bone is healed your pretty safe to move it around a lot and work it for strength, I played football with one that wasnt healed and it didnt rebreak(thank god). I have a bunch of stress balls I would squeeze all day long. It will take a couple weeks but little by little your strength will come back. I would grab a bar and just hang for as long as you can with feet off the ground if you can. I could also do wrist excersizes with small dumbells just working your wrist around. Also theres some good things you can do with a bucket of rice but that might not be available to you. Just work it alot and bend it and stretch it out. Dont baby it whatever you do. The strength and coordination will come back, and the first few days are the worst. Just treat it like you would if it was never broken.
