Putting the screws to work, and it feels SO GOOD

I got put in a situation at work last friday where the boss and "power that be" at work tried to manipulate me and create a highschool lunchroom style, he said ____ so kick his butt situation. Totally immature, unprofessional, and uncalled for.

I got offered a situation today by a friend that will allow me to walk away, have an enjoyable job, and not worry about paying the bills. I can leave them squirming in my absence with no sweat off my brow.

I am so due for this kind of good news. It feels like a horse just got off my chest. I am happier than I have been in well over a year concerning my professional status. I've been due for a good thing and it finally came my way.

Thanks to who/whatever let this fall in my lap!!!!!!

Piece of advice, working for a friend is not easy and don't be supprised down the road when you two are no longer friends.

Actually its not a permanent arrangement. He is merely hepling me make the ends meet while a few offers are still working. You know its better to be looking for work while you have a job rather than while unemployed.

I hear you there dude. I get out of the Navy in 54 days. I can't even interview for the jobs I am looking at until the day after I actually get out. They won't talk to me because I won't have 1 piece of paper until then. I may suffer a heart attack before I get another job! lol
