well.. you all will prya flame me.. but o well...

so today.. i was bowling.(we have to do it for school)and i was leaving..one of my buds was sayin im leaking something while i was backing up... and i checked both of my mirrors.. nothing... checked myy rearveiw...nothing.. so as i was gonna pull forward to check out what was leaking.. THUNK! and i got mayjor wiplash... i thought ti myself.. i sure hope that was a kidd instead of a pole!(less damge) lol... but ne ways.. all of my friends are just standing there in disbeleif... (this car is new).. and i get out,, see a pole.. and was already ready to shoot myuself... so look.. and i need a new rear bumper.. new tail light.. plus 40 hours or more of labor... i hit it goint pretty fast in reverse.. so instantly i called my mom..(im 14) and she said hello.. "i hit a jewish pole" the first thing i said.. so then i told her the hole story.. so i go down to a body shop.. with an estimate of over 700$ to get er' fixed.. and i just ordered a spoiler and am getting my windows tinted monday.. so im broke..(i wish this would have happened sooner,, before i blew all of my money..) SO.. i had a crappy day..thanks for reading..

What the blue hell are you doing driving(I'm assuming with just friends in the car) at 14?

Sure, I drove at 14 but on dirt roads and in the woods and stuff. What kinda crazy laws do they have up there?and if you're backing up and someone says you're leaking something, why are you gonna look in your mirror? It's obviously going to be infront of you seeing as you're in reverse.

how do they let 14 year olds drive. i have tons of 16 year olds where i live that cant drive at all. always cutting ppl off and getting in crashes outside of our local highschool and that kind of stuff.

Dude, its a pole, it cant be in a blind spot because if youre backing up you should either be turned around or using all your mirrors.

congrats on a wonderful learning experience... with any luck you will be paying for all the repairs and your insurance, as it is sure to skyrocket when you tell them you hit a pole going really fast in reverse.
