    I'm missing my stargate!! I get back from work to discover for some reason, there is now TWO channels with G4 (Total crap, RIP TechTV) on it, one of them replacing the Sci Fi Channel.

    Anyone else addicted to this show?

      Not really. I'll tune in if I feel like it.

      The SciFi crew killed FarScape awhile back. Great show.

              HAHA yea i am incredably addicted to the show, between me and my friend hunter(xmetal2001) we have all 7 seasons that are on dvd right now, and i have DLed a couple episodes of season 8 but since i dindt start watcing the season when it began i am a lil behing.

              I also jsut DLed the entire first season of atlantis which seems like a very good spinoff in its own.

                              Hmmm, tried to watch an episode of Stargate Atlantis the other night at a friends. He is totally addicted, taping each episode on TiVo and all.

                              I just couldn't get into it. Maybe the premise of them fixing billion year old equipment that still works and whos orbits haven't decayed, and or where the planet while still viable hasn't eroded away the stuff yet. Although the explanations seemed quasi-plausible....

                              I couldn't help but laugh when White Zombie(wraith) is the bad guy. And if Spock and Kirk were there they woud have already figured out a way to make all the laptop batteries open the wormhole and gone home....lol

                                  Punkcat, yea I think this is one of the types of shows you'd have to start watching from the begining to like. If you just start watching it you won't get anything.
                                  For example, the orbit issue has been addressed.
                                  And the technology was build by supreme beings, so of course it's going to last billions of years.
                                  And some planets are no longer inhabitable that once were
                                  And so on, you'd have to have watched it all
