The only band I'd care to see is Zao, so no. Bad crowds, bad prices, and as a whole, really bad music.

Bad crowds? Last summer's Warped Tour crowds were some of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of going insane with.

Prices? $30 for a full day of multiple stages? If you don't like the music, that's one thing, and you probably wouldn't pay money to begin with. But if you DO, that seems pretty good for as much as you get.

Really bad music? Well, I guess you can refer to my previous comment. If you like it, cool. If not, don't go.

I wasn't a gigantic fan of anybody playing last year (other than Flogging Molly, I would've paid $30 just for them), but I still went, and had an awesome time. Don't get so worked up over the made up politics of the music industry, and just try and have a good time. It worked out well for me.

Too many 13 y/o girls with their tits (or lack there of) hanging out, too many mall punks, WAY too many crowd surfers (especially ones who enjoy kicking people in the head), and mosh pits full of fourteen year olds trying to act tough. That was my last Warped Tour experience. No thanks.

I'm talking about food, water, and merch prices. They are rediculous. Way to show the promoters don't care about the fans.

The question asked if you were going. I said no, and stated why. 90% of the bands sucking horribly is the main reason.

I'm not worked up. I know people who own venues and CD stores here, the politics are not made up. It goes all the way from the local level to the top of the chain.

              Hmm... fair enough.

Ugh, that's true, I had somehow forgotten about that.

Didn't mean that as an attack on you, but I was predicting this would turn into a gigantic debate-esque monstrosity that 95% of the threads about music turn into. And what do you mean about the politics? That sounds interesting.

There are a few bands I'd like to see, i.e. Atreyu, bleeding through, hawthorne heights, ZAO, fallout boy, and I'd love to see dropkick murphys in concert atleast once.

I went one year a long time ago. I think Guttermouth and Bad Religion were the only bands I liked.

$28 for 8 slices of pizza and $5 for a cup of lemonaid isn't my idea of fun.

Offspring's gonna be there?!? They put on a GREAT show, wow, saw them a couple years ago at a different festival, and was absolutely blown away. I would love to see them again.

It's an all day event and you can't leave then come back. Even if you eat alot before, you're still going to get hungry at some point before it's over.

I'm probobly gonna go to Ozzfest or Sounds of the Underground this year. Probobly ozzfest because I like all of the Main stage, and some of the 2nd stage. SOTU only has 2 or 3 bands(namley GWAR and DevilDriver) that I like. I love those 2 and would kill to see them individually, but I don't know if I could sit through a bunch of crappy hardcore(Don't jump down my throat because I don't like hardcore like happaned in another thread when I said I didn't like gangsta rap. It's my opinion. If you don't like it, ignore it.) bands for those 2.
