If you're going for loud/boominess = vented/ported.
If you're going for SQ/tight bass = sealed.

the big question is what type of car do you have? Hatchback = vented Trunk = sealed(unless you vent directly into passenger compartment)
Keep in mind, vented boxes usually require a little more power too.Comment
