My school = Extortionists

It's not really a huge deal but my school is going to start playing hanson's - mmm bop after every hour until we raise $1,500 for cancer. I know its for a good cause but that is not a good method to get people to donate money, plus it makes the cancer society look bad because the school is forcing us to pay.

Just a rant, i just cant believe my school would result to extortion for a donation project.

That is not extortion, that is motivation. They aren't forcing you to do anything.

It also won't make the Cancer Society look bad, because your school is probably unaffiliated with the Cancer Society. Besides, putting it on repeat all day long would be so much funnier, or mixing it with some Brittney Spears and BackStreet Boys... It could be worse.

LMAO... your probably right, I doubt they have a license to publically broadcast that music, let alone for a fundraising event. Come to think of it, I would go to the principle and ask to see the licenscing agreement he has with the RIAA, Hanson, or its agents, that allows use of the music for fundraising activities.
