    ipod sync question

i know ipod works off of a sync thingy... so quickly: if i delete songs off my computer to save space, and add new ones to my comp, and then sync it with my ipod, will it delete the songs that were deleted off the computer, off the ipod?

Yeah, it will. Because the way you tell it what to delete and add is through your computer.

The Deafult setting for iTunes is to auto-sync the iPod. This mean if you delete a song off your HDD then it will take it off your iPod as well. You can change this though. In iTunes go to the iPod menu under prefrences and tell it not to auto-sync. When this is on the iPod will aquire/delete the songs you tell it to.
