    Birds and the bees?

    okay, yeah...
    first off, i'm 18 years old, i know how sex works but i've never ever herd the story about the birds and the bees, me and a bunch of other people have been wondering it for a long time, is there really a story or is it just a phrase reffering to be tought about sex?

    can someone help me out here?!!

            I never actually heard it but I always thought they were just used as examples.

            Like one day a bird met a bee, and they fell in love... yada yada yada... babies!
