My car got mad at me

I went to start my car this morning, it cranks and... Nothing. Damnit
Get out of car open hood, see somthing hanging down.
My swaybar is cracked a big 36mm swaybar sheered off, wtf it takes A LOT to do that, you don't see that autocrossing the things.
While i'm looking at that my hood struts say no more and the thing slams shut on my hand.
Now my starter is acting up.

It went from great yesturday to everything being broken today, how the hell does that much go wrong in a matter of eight hours.

Ouch sounds like a bad day. Well what kinda car is it? Maybe i can give ya some help to figure out whats wrong with it. Unfortuantly im more knoledgeable on diesels (im a diesel mehcanic) but have a good idea for most cars of the common probs.

If its craking your starter probly not the prob obviously UNLESS she is crankin REALLY slow and the battery is fine.

id more sooner START my look at fuel or electrical depening on year model engine etc.

Whats the starter doing? Could be from being too hot with the cranking? Or is it electrical?

Yup. Get a little diagnosticy thingy that plugs into your car, maybe the date is set wrong (Y2K bug hit pyro a little slow I guess )

After years of driving old cars I have to state this: Old cars are cool, but mainenance sucks.

Trying to put a valve cover back on during freezing temperatures, at night, with winds averaging 40mph, and a dust storm is absolutely, positively no fun.
