    Medal of Honor awarded today

I wanted to bring to everyone's attention the awarding of the first Medal of Honor from the war in Iraq. Army Sergeant First Class Paul Smiths 11-year old son will receive the medal for his fathers sacrifice.

    Here is the story

Thanks to all of our service men and women throughout the world and may the sacrifices they have made as well as the sacrifices of their families not be forgotten. Next time you see a person in uniform take a moment to say thank you. Those two simple words mean alot.

Thats such a good story. I always try to relate it to paintball in my head to try and figure out what its like being exposed with everyone shooting at you and of course real bullets instead of paintballs, not to mention grenades and rockets and what not. Thats crazy stuff. You know like when your on the 50 behind a piece of plywood or something and all you hear on your bunker is THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD-THUD really loud and really fast? Am I the only one who stops and thinks "if these were real bullets, ide be screwed"

That was a good story. Like the similar story of a British Army Victoria Cross winner last month, it is proof that there are still real heroes in the world.
