Has anybody here gone to a velvet revolver show? I'm wanting to go, but it is the exact same time as my woman's prom, and she wants to go to that, where as i want to go to VR. Shes pretty damn pissed off at me anyway, because i kinda blew her off and went to a motley crue concert. So would it be worth my not getting any to go to a VR show?
By the way, she hates velvet revolver and motley crue.

I've never seen them, and don't perticularly care to, but if you like 'em go. It can't be any worse than prom, and probobly alot cheaper.

And i didnt really blow her off, i just didnt take her with me, or chill with her that night(I'm glad i didnt because in the middle of the show, Tommy Lee whipped out his wang, and it made me feel inferior(that man could make god himself cry in shame). I woke up up the next morning in some guys house, reaking of smoke and vodka. ah, good times)

I saw VR on Halloween in North Little Rock--great show! Actually, VR was the worst band that night. Earshot, Shinedown and Chevelle blew the place away!

VR was cool because they came out on stage playing "Welcome to the Jungle" and Weiland was dressed up as Axl Rose and Slash was dressed up as Bucket Head.
Anyway, they didn't play the whole song--bummer... However, they did play "Night Train" and "Sex Type Thing" back to back--that was freaking awesome!

So, in conclusion, I think that VR was worth seeing once, but I doubt that I would see them again--unless someone really cool opened up for them.

(Damn, I missed the Papa Roach show tonight... )

if she's worth anything she'd only give you a hard time about it to make you feel bad.

As for the VR thing....if they are anything like their album, they will be a major dissapointment. i'd say go to the Prom, atleast then you'll probably hear good music.
And no, i never expected them to live up to either GnR or STP, but i was expecting good music from the great talent pool...what a bummer

well now, if they're only bi for frat parties, are they really bi? i'd say probably not... any girl can be bi with the right BAL. And come on, velvet revolver isn't that bad. They aren't gnr, true, but i've definitely heard worse (and you'll probably hear worse at prom :))
