Looks like this will be a fun semester...except for Spanish. Oh, I'm a Freshman and I go to the University of New Paltz in New York. Its one of the SUNY schools. (State University of New York)

Well I'm just getting back into school after getting kicked out of college in '97 and 4 years in the army.

I could only take two classed this quarter because they are still working my transcripts out.

SCT100 - Intro to MicroComputers(I can't believe I have to take this, I was a CompSci major before)

MTH 191 College Algebra/Trig(Math refresher for me, it's been a while since I had to deal with math.)

Basicly this is just to ease me back into school and get my GPA back up, easy 4.0 this quarter.

I'm a CIS/Networking Major at Savannah Technical College, it's a small school, but with my wife in the army now, I don't have a lot of choices.

Thordic, you are very gifted to be able to stand English so much...i could never take more than one english class, even one now bores me to death. When i get into college i think i am going to probably major in Business and then try and get my MBA, or be a lawyer, what do they major in? Law??

well techinically i'm not a college student, but my mom did make my brother and I take a college Algebra class, it kinda sucked, especially since it was in the summer. but we both managed to pull a B in it. but it did get 4 credits outta the way

Hmm.. a college Algebra class? They teach Algebra in college? I am finished with Algebra this year, I am only a dumb highschool Freshmen.

I'll be in some form of Calc. 2 Freshmen year
in college, atleast thats what the flow charts say.


Gmag- Spanish 1 IS fun, it rocked in 7th grade, it'll be even better in college I bet. Did you take a foreign language before in Highschool? I want to take Latin, but I can't fit that in with my Spanish class. Oh well

Total: 13 Units.

Im taking a light load this semester since I have AP credits which give me a little extra boost.

yeah they teach biology in high school too. doesnt mean you can fly through a bio-engineer major.

Bio is really diffrent than Algebra though. Where does this Algebra fall in line with the flow chart? If its in college I assume somewhere after Calc.?
