    Old Clothes

A lot of my T-Shirts are stuff that I got for free. I stockpiled on T-Shirts at Comdex and conventions and stuff, and sometimes with multiples of the same shirt - which I have no problem wearing two days in a row because it's clean.

Some of my friends tell me that I wear UNLV shirts ALL the time, which is true - because I got them for free. I also have a couple paintball shirts, and stuff from work... also free.

Now, my rule is: Wear it until there are holes or stains... and if there are... I can still wear it at home. I noticed that I don't have a single shirt that isn't at least a year old... some are way old.

People don't give pants away for free like they do shirts... and the ones I have are all old too. The only thing that's brand new... are socks. I like new socks... throw them away all the time and get new ones every couple of months.

I've never been one to give a crap about fashion. I purposely wore velcro shoes (they are simpler) until kids on the bus kept hitting me because of them... so I got a pair of new Nikes and the torment stopped. Funny how a Swoosh symbol can have that kind of effect.

But, I can tell that my stuff is really ratty now, even to my standards... and I need new clothes. Now, I've never "shopped for clothes" in my life by myself, and especially with my own cash. My mom would buy stuff, I'd get free stuff, my ex-GF would dress me... BTW, if I ever had a personal ad out... I might put in: Wants girl who will dress him, because he doesn't have a clue. Honestly... if she started bringing me clothes and told me "Wear this," I'd go take out the garbage and put the lid down right then and there.

Well, I guess I'll go to the mall... and start my new adventure. What a waste of money... unlike DVDs, CDs, electronics, and stuff.

haha. I'm the same way. I usually get a pair of pants for christmas and I somehow aquire t-shirts. I like the armpit holes in the summer. Airs the shirts out a little. When the holes get to big you can cut the sleeves off and you've got a nice sleevless shirt. It's when the collar starts to rip off when I have to move the shirt to its next phase in life. A rag in the garage.

Actually, you just reminded me to do laundry today. I'm down to the boxers with no elasticity left. They keep falling down in my pants.

Just wait until you have to start dropping $400 to $600 for suits! Dress shirts and ties aren't that cheap either!

As for casual, buy some khakis, blue jeans and black jeans and you are good to go!

Yeah, no kidding. I just bought a suit last summer. I've got to get some nice shirts and pants too because I start a real job in June. Why cant I just go to work in my underpants. It's not fair.

Just find a work that gives you a uniform, so you can wear the same one...every day.

um... i buy lots of clothes... now i feel flamboyant

well, actually now that i think about it... 50% of my t-shirt collection are hardrock cafe shirts from around the world... I don't wear those, they just sit there and look pretty. whatever

oddly enough, I just went out and bought a new wardrobe. for those that know me, I am all about the tshirt and jeans. well, I decided that mens warehousw would be my newest outfitter for my new wardrobe.

about 3 months ago, I was going on interviews for jobs and stuff, so, I needed a decent suit to do that. I neded up picking up 2 suits (pronto umo and joseph and fiess incacse you are wondering) 3 dress shirts, some suspenders and dress shoes.. to the tune of $1050. I thought this was part of a much needed wardrobe change.

I went out 2 weeks ago, to pick out new stuff for spring. I walked in intending on only spending ~$400 on new clothes. 4 pairs of pants, 2 sportcoats, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 cedar hangars, 1 cedar shoe tree, 3 ties, 1 more pair of suspenders and 9 dress shirts later.. it came to $1100. But, I am pretty set for a while as far as the wardobe goes. I couldnt be happier that I am looking like a rather dapper fella Ive gotten quite the amount of comments about it lately.

I was on the way... and I decided that I needed to get a can of paint and go to the DMV instead. Maybe this week I'll finally cave in.

atleast yours fall down inside your pants. mine ride up. its really uncomfortable and i have no idea how to kepp them down, except pushing them down, which make me look weird especially in public with my arm half way down my pants.

and for some reason, my jeans always shrink too much. i buy them large, and they shrink so i can hardlt get them around my waist. and since i'm tall, when i sit down, my socks arent covered, and it makes my jeans look way too short.

i also wear these pants from the early ninetys late eightys that my parents passed on to me. really baggy and light and with lots of crazy colors and patterns.
i wore a pair to school on friday to get extra credit cuz it was 90's day, and 3/4 of the guys that i know said that they were gay, and girls that i know and dont know said they were cool.
someone even wanted to buy them. lol
