One of my best friends is a girl, iv only known her this year, we are basically like brother/sister, we tell eachother everything, I mean everything. Meh, my buddies and I have been talking about how its not really fun to go out to the bars anymore. Buncha chicks with no real interest in you, except for your wallet. No to mention that if you did *decide to hang out in immidiate future* with said type of girl; who else has?

I'm mainly looking to meet women through friends now. Go out with a larger group and just mingle. If you're legal, there are actually a lot of free/inexpensive events you can attend.

Ok, Here is my advice because I just like to give it..... I'm a girl its what we do.

Alright, this girl is in the "best" friend type of catagory right? Meaning you must talk a lot and hang out quite often. Which, most friends do. Right? If not then start doing more stuff together in a friend sort of way. Decide if you really like her before making any moves because once you go there the friendship based relationship kinda gets lost. I mean if you are friends shes not going anywhere for awhile and you have a little time before screwing that all up....which most guys do anyway. But, its that cute dumbness that makes us like you so much!!

I think any girl worth being friends with will make it a point NOT to make it weird, even if she doesn't like you back. If she honestly values you as a friend, she'll be flattered and probably make an effort to flirt less.

Or she'll decide she likes you, and you'll go out for a year before fighting over something stupid like prom and you'll stop speaking to each other. Bitter? Me? Never.
