Internet Problems

I am really starting to get tick off over this, and it seems as if no one else can help me. Every now and then my Internet Explorer will start acting up, it takes a long time to boot up, it won't let me use the address bar, it won't let me stay on very long, and it acts slow in general. Every now and then it just starts doing it, and then after about a week it stops. I ran a check for viruses and it came up negative, so does anyone have any ideas?

ugh, get mozilla, and run a virus scan in safe mode like said above, and see if you can revert to an older IE if you dont like mozilla

Get mozilla firefox, run a virus scan but make sure its UP TO DATE, then run an ad-aware scan, then do a disk cleanup, then check see if you need to de-frag.

Also make sure you have a decent firewall.

who provides your internet. about a week ago comcast was running VERY slow, and it might just be lagging like crazy so it seems like its not working or you lost your connection. power cycle your modem and get firefox
