Kung Fu Hustle - WATCH THIS MOVIE! Do it NOW!
"This is the most fantastic thing I have ever seen."
Those were the first words out of my mouth once I left the theatre, and I had to repeat myself several times to anybody that would listen. I hadn't heard of this film going into it, I had no idea what it was about or what genre it was, I just ended up going with a couple friends that reccomended it. I have rarely been so completely satisifed by a movie as I was with this one... it was so fun, the entire way through!
Basically, it's a kung fu spoof, sort of, that's a comedy, and also an entertaining action flick, with nods to a number of other well-known films and genres. I don't watch Kung Fu, ever, and I thoroughly enjoyed Kung Fu Hustle.
GO SPEND THE $10, YOU LAZY BUM!! THIS MOVIE ROCKS!!

I'm american, I don't deserve subtitles or dubbing 
I didn't think it looked that good from the preview that I saw, and neither did my friend, but I talked him into going with me to see it the other day based on the recommendation on this page. We both walked out VERY impressed. As we were walking out he said "I can't remember the last time I saw a movie that good." I seriously had this big (beep)-eatin' grin on my face through most of the film, it was just that enjoyable from beginning to end. Very funny, very cool, great action, great effects (visual and sonic), just all out a blast to watch. I don't remember ever having quite as strong a feeling of having gotten my money's worth at a movie theater.
