Doesn't have to be especially sharp, as those are stabbing weapons, not cutting tools.

I've had my Zytel "CIA letter opener" for over ten years now, even went with me to Iraq.

Sharp enough to be placed on the FBI's guide to concealable weapons.

I used to have "THE KNIFE", it was a dollar at the case store, it could punch through a car door, but I sorta, um broke it. Hmm never thought of security measures though.

fiberglass is wound with, obviously, fibers. if you can image how hard a boat's surface is, thats not even tightly wound fiberglass, so i would imagine these could punch through walls without difficulty

i'm tempted to buy one of those karambits
if it were folding, i'd definatally buy it for work, but otherwise i dont think i would buy it.

i drive pizza and it would be nice for going into the trailor park(the ghetto of cedar springs)
or nice for cutting open boxes.

Don't get a karambit unless you're going to take the time and learn what you're doing with a trainer. I've seen master knifemakers get dozens of stitches in their hands because they were playing around with someone else's karambit.

                    For example, this...

Can do this, if you don't know what your doing:

Also, if your going to have an on-the-job knife, I recommend something cheaper, like a 50 dollar Spyderco, rather than shelling out for a nice chunk of cash (and maybe flesh) for a karambit.

Of course, but I would most definitely be learning how to use it properly. Though it wouldn't be a work knife . . . . more like for WHERE I work

ive been thinking about getting something like that, or a cia letter opener.

right now the knife i almost always have with me is a Smith and Wesson S.W.A.T. with a straight blade. i can cut pretty much anything i need to at work, and dont have to worry about serrations getting dull. if i run into anything i need a sharper knife for, i always have a utility knife.
