The g/f and I have been together for just over 2yrs, and lived together for over a year and a half. Its good stuff.

My advice to you guys planning your weddings... meet the future 'in laws' much sooner than 1 week before your wedding (long story, fiance had a big falling out with her family and they are now just getting back). Good news is they loved me!

yeah, there have been a bunch of wedding announcements lately so let me give all of you newlyweds a bit of helpful advice. if you haven't figured it out yet, communication and compromise are the keys to a long, healthy and succesful marriage. i will have been married 16 years this coming september and let me tell you, the first 5-7 years are the most difficult. you hear about the seven year itch, well, if you can make it past that point and you learn to use the two c's, you're should be alright. i got married at 20 and had a child and i'm still happily married to the same wonderful woman and have 2 wonderful children now. of course we still argue and have our little spats but that's how they stay..."little". you have to say what you are thinking and not hold anything in unless it's something you want to say just to be spiteful. love eachother, talk to eachother, learn from eachother, have fun together...always be there for eachother even if you think she's crying over something totally rediculous...just be there. good luck everyone and may your marriages last forever.
