    WOOT New to me pickup!

I picked up a 1969 F-250 4x4 at the local consignment auction yesterday for 400 bucks! LOL I even drove the thing home (crappy brakes, no powersteering, no taillights, brake lights or turn signals, but hey it runs!)

Body is in horrible shape, but everything seems mechanically sound. 360 or 390 engine (have to check into that more in depth), 4 speed standard, Dana 24 divorced t-case, Dana 60 rear axle with 4.10, and dana 44 front with 4.09.

I'll probably just use it for parts for some of my million other projects, but who knows... maybe it'll end up being my daily driver / work pickup.

I'll try and get some pics of the beast soon.

Not only runs... but runs GOOD! . It's butt ugly though... LOL. I'm going to put some fresh batteries in my digi cam and set it by the door right now so I can remember to take some pics!

I wish I could find an old beater Bronco or 4x4 F150 for ~$400 to go muddin with on the weekends and stuff. I don't even need it to run. We've got 3 or 4 motors that I could use.

Here's a link to my photos... sorry if the 69 isn't up on there yet, it said it could take up to 30 minutes before the webpage updates.

Awesome! I bet it was clean if it was an arizona truck... probably hardly any rust at all. LOL you should have taken the snowcat too, that would be freakin sweet to drive around in! (I'm pretty sure it would be a snowcat if it came from a ski resort)

If you looked at my pics in the webshots you probably saw the link to the 6.9 diesel pickup. I got that one for free from my father in law. He bought it for $200 because he wanted the bed off of it for his pickup and then just gave me the rest of the pickup. Put a new starter on it (old one was COMPLETELY cooked) and it fired right up!

The 95 powerstroke in my webshots is my daily driver and was a replacement for the 93 F-150 which got t-boned. The 77 I bought at another auction for 850 because I wanted the front axle for the 93. My dad bought the 76 a long time ago and I love that pickup and plan on restoring it to it's full glory someday after I get all these current projects done.

Haven't figured out what I'm gonna do with the 69 yet, but it will probably sit for a lil while at least until I get the 77 done.

So many projects... so little time!
