ROTS Video Game

Has anyone played this yet? It is frickin' AWESOME! It is the ultimate Jedi game. You can kick so much butt in this game, it's unbelievable! It also has movie clips integrated into it, so it gives a bit of a sneak peek.

I played it straight for 4 hours on Friday (that's a long time for me...)

I highly recommend it for any SW Fan--it's a must have!

It got a really bad review from IGN. Something like 4.5/10 I think. I was considering picking it up, but I saw that and changed my mind.

and like gimp said I had all but pressed the buy key when I started reading bad reviews on the game.

so I held off

the reviews i've seen are all over the board, anywhere from 3.5/10 up to 8/10

Is it availale for PC? I have seen the commercials, but I didn't see a "PC" logo for the different platforms at the end. I enjoyed the Jedi Knight games. Nothing like force choking an enemy and dropping them off some high place.

I've got it for PS2--don't know if it's out for PC.

All I can say is that it kills Jedi Knight in terms of playability and style. It is similar to Jedi Academy in that you can build your character's different skills by being a Jedi ninja througout the game. The more combos you pull, the more little tick marks you get to increase different skills of either Anakin or Obi-Wan (mostly Anakin though).
You can "grapple" with new droids (grappling droids ) they can block your lightsaber--no fair--so you have to grab them and throw/push them and then cauterize them. I haven't figured out how to break from grabs yet (on purpose), or how to perform more complex grabs/throws; however, I'm building Anakin up pretty nicely, so hopefully he'll be really badass soonly.

It is very fast, smooth and action-packed game play. It is without a doubt--the BEST EVER Jedi game--PERIOD. The voices are done very well. I believe that they are the actual voices of the actors--if they aren't, then I'm really impressed.

Dooku is a difficult MOFO to defeat. It took me like an hour to get past his old butt.
I haven't played it in like 3 days though--I'm going through withdrawls....

I've got Academy for PC and I love that game--but in my opinion, it doesn't hold a flame to ROTS. It is a very exciting game to play.

The voices are done very well. I believe that they are the actual voices of the actors--if they aren't, then I'm really impressed.

Okay, I read the booklet--the only voice from the movie that's in the game is Matthew Wood (Grievious). I've got to hand it to everyone else though--they had me fooled!
The voices are excellent imitations (except for GG--cause he's the real deal)

I went and purchased the game for ps2.(not out for pc yet)

and I have to say this game rocks

TONS of movie cut scence's the movie is going to rock
