Coin Ring (large-ish pics)

There's a thread on this over on the Thorums, but I figured I'd post it here.

I saw a website last week that showed you how to make a ring out a of silver 50 cent piece. I didn't have a silver one, so I decided to practice on a newer one (copper / nickel). The metal is a lot harder to work with, and it won't look as pretty, but it still works. I've since gotten a silver 50 cent piece to make a ring out of as well.

Here are some shots of the ring in progress. It still isn't finished, but its getting there.

don't worry, thats what people told me when i started makeing my own double tail quarters. its really handy when you flip for who gets what side of the field.

howd u do it, jsut super glue two quarters togeather?

use a dremel or something to get one half very very very thin, with no ridges. then thin down the other one as deep as what is left of the 1st piece, then jb weld.
