AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
holds a couple thousand .50 cal rounds? I can see adapting that....
:) although the 8k fps may be a LITTLE too high
meh, maybe a little...
then again... kids will be running around telling everyone online how they have an uber mod for theirs and it can fire 400,000 RPM and making fun of everyone who only has a 4,000 round capacity.

That sounds pretty cool. It's gotta eat up the battery pretty quick though. My guess is that it's just a real fancy motor. There have been some big advances in electromechanics, and he's probably taking advantage of new technologies. I'm really curious how it actually works. Does it just have something that constantly spins, then grabs the balls in a magnetic field and just whips em around and out one side? Or would it just spin when you pull the trigger? Maybe the balls are still and just get 'whacked' with some sort of moving electric/magnetic field. That would explain the frictionless part.
The satalite part about no recoil is a load. If you push something away from you its going to push back. Well you could have it fire in the totall oppsite direction at the same time.
I am guessing this works like a warp feed where you have 2 discs that pinch the balls and then its basically a really advanced sling.

Big thanks to Havoc_online and Tunaman for the help too. A+ Service.
Its possible to have no recoil due to the fact the bullet isn't being propelled laterally but centrifugally. The centrifugal motion probably also acts as a stabilizer.
