I'm thinking about buying an xbox. I need to know, is there a direct connecter available for cable connections. I have an older tv and there is no yellow/red/white cable port. I know I can buy a power converter or whatever it's called. It would be easier if I could just buy a new cable for $20 than a power converter for $30.

There are direct cable convertors like the one you need, just check any decent electronics store that carries Xbox stuff. My off-topic advice would be to buy it used for cheap since it won't be worth squat when the 360 comes out within the next year.War is peace

If you have a VCR on that tv, you may be able to connect the Xbox that way.
Some VCR's have RCA inputs (Red, white, yellow cable) and output the signal on coax.Comment
