Catfish with Scales?!?

So we;ve got a pond. Not the biggest in the world, but it's FULL of fish. Up until today we though it was full of normal cat's(I thing they're blue cats and yellow-belly or something) and talapia. about 2 days ago, I cought a really weird looking cat. I had no idea what it was. Today, we cought one with the cast net that's slightly larger. We kept it in a bucket this time to figure out what it was(I'll get pics later).

We're 99% sure it's a cat seeing as it has whiskers, prongs on the sides, and it barks. BUT, it has scales and instead of the top prong, it has a short fin. WTF is this thing?

I did throw 2 goldfish(carp) in there a long time ago that I won at the county fair thinking the catfish would eat them or something, not have a bastard child(or children rather seeing as this is the 2nd one we found).

Yep it seems you've caught a Brown Hoplo commonly called the armor plated catfish.
