New Guitar Suggestions($400-$500)

Today I went down to guitar center and picked up the used Blue Sunburst NJ Series Warlock, its pretty nice, I think I made the right decision.

Depending on the cost, American made Jacksons are some of the best guitars out there, and since you don't see them advertised all over the place, it helps to keep their costs down. Since your dealing with guitar center, you have to go with only what they carry, which kind of limits the selection of high quality guitars.

I would say, play as many as you can. The lower cost BC Richs, mexican strats, and others of the same kind are a dime a dozen. Maybe they have some cool used guitars? I wish guitar center carried Dean...they make some great guitars, even for imports.

Everything still comes back to Jackson...great guitars.

The faded SG was another great suggestion...just make sure you look them over well...there have been some quality control issues.

Jackson make really good metal guitars and so do gibsons.

I would say get a jackson or an epiphone sg style. i have a Gibson SG. I love gibsons.
