Ipod mini or Dell Digital Jukebox

    i can't decide between the 2.

the dell 20GB is about $212 with a song capacity of around 9,900 songs.
the ipod mini only holds around 1000 if i'm correct.

i like how easy it is to transfer and buy songs for the ipod. i haven't had the chance to do that with the dell.

so, anybody who owns a dell, how well do you like them, and how much would you recommend one??

The iPod mini if only for simplicity with it and iTunes. The connection between the two is what sets it apart.

        Thats just my opinion however...

I have a Dell Jukebox and I like it.

The interface isn't as nice as I-Pod's but it still easy to use. They are really sturdy, and obviously bigger than the mini, but no bigger then a normal I-Pod. If you think you will only need the 4 gb or so of storage then go with the mini, but I doubt that will be the case.

          Transfering songs is really simple.

Yeah, i've heard great things about how durable they are. Actually I've heard great things all around about the dell.

I went to a Mini myself.

My work outlawed laptops (network security issue according to IT) so I needed a music solution so I bought a Mini and couldn't be happier.

I picked up one and a firewire cable and ITRIP MINI and the ITRIP MINI alone is worth it. 4gigs of music available when Im driving to/from work + music all day at work w/ no recycles is worth it.

I liked some others (Zen, etc) but it came down to my personal preference so I went w/ the Mini and it has been awsome. I had an issue where the battery life wasn't displaying right (lasted like it should but said it was empty 3hrs into it) so I did a restart like Apple recommended and immediatly fixed the issue.
