Need Help ASAP document recovery question

    okay guys, here's what happened:

my mom has been typing her college thesis on my computer, and today, somehow, 31 pages of work were erased. When you open the file up, it shows only the final page of the thesis. Now I don't know exactly what happened, I guess there was some problem and she somehow erased all but that page ( ). Anyway, tonight is the night before she has to mail her thesis, so if anyone knows how I could get to that file somehow (I know theres a way to see your computer's saved files from a few days ago, or something like that), PLEASE let me know.

edit: in other words, if this clarifies at all, what i need is to see the document as it was PRIOR to the most recent save.

I tried system restore, but that didnt work, as it promises that you wont lose your saved files..except thats kind of what I want to do, lol

System restore only restores the system files, not data files. Download a program called Free Undelete.
