Am I biased, or is this bull?

Ok, I've worked at a resort for four summers now, this being my fifth. I've been a supervisor for 2 and half off those summers. This year, my old boss left and it is now under new management.

This lady didn't hire most people that wanted to return. Only three of us are returning. The other two are only returning because they worked for this lady this winter. The Only reason I was rehired because anyone she asked about me said nothing but good thigns. (I tried hard not to laugh when she said this )

I'm not returning as a supervisor. INSTEAD, myself and the other two employees are training new people. We are telling this new manager, and her two new supervisors what to do.

I'm sorry, maybe I'm biased because I'm not a supervisor anymore, but I think this is bullcrap.
She's putting peple she's personaly known for years in charge. Yet.. they have no idea what they are doing. Heck, the night supervisor doesn't even WANT the job. I'm a modest person, so I hate saying this, but I'm the most qualified person for the job. I know the cafe inside and out. I'm the fastest worker at any job you can do in the cafe. I know alot of the people at the resort and they wera all happy to see me back.

Bull? Sure. But if you want to keep the job there's not much you can do about it.

The best "taskers" for lask of a better word are seldom the best supervisors or management. I work in a technical field (automotive). Some of the employees are much better at the job than I am, the technical aspect, they are better, and faster Yet I am general manager. It is a whole different skill set than that needed to do "any job in the cafe, most qualified, or fastest".
