Not really...in fact, I'd say it's a pretty interesting one.

I don't know about the porn star angle on the topic...I would think that would be very tough because real sex is being exchanged. I think the only ones who successfully pull this kind of thing off are those people who can also handle wife swapping, extra marital relations, and mutiple partners. Because most of the time, when you read interviews with people involved in the adult film industry they claim they get to have sex with other people (which is part of their work), and their sposes do to (which is only fair...I guess). So I would say that would be the determining factor of whether anyone could do it or not. Sure they're hot, but you have to "share" them with other people and that to me sucks. That is why I would never be able to be comfortable with that.

Now, that having been said, there is a big difference between adult film stars and strippers. My fiance is a former stripper, and I met her in the club. While we began dating, she continued to work there for a few months. I would go see her often. Now, the thing was, I had to let go of certain things and build trust real quickly. The on-stage dancing isn't a big deal so much as the lap dances. You have to resign yourself to the fact that is what they have to do, in that line of work, to make a living. If you cannot handle it, you musn't date one. I gotta say, for me it was a major turn-on to think here was this beautiful woman who everyone in the place was fantasizing about but I got to take home. That's an enormous ego boost right there. The lap dancing is the bad you must take with the good. On the bright side, she never minds going to strip clubs with me.

She ended up quitting that line of work once we turned off serious because our relationship was more important than doing any job, and because she no longer felt comfortable performing since we were in love. She is, of course, a really good woman though. Not all performers are that caring. So Anyway, long story short, adult film stars would be a whole different ball game to be involved with than exotic dancers. But either way, you gotta know what you can put up with and what you can't.
