i have like 5 of those things. i once wedged a paper ball down it, then slid a long screw driver down the pipe... well the screw driver shot through a 1/2 inch think piece of plywood, and kept going through some woods. well, some guy lives in a house behind those woods, and i havent heard from him since i shot the screw driver in his direction.

your m-1000 is probably just a basic firecracker with a cardboard tube instead of paper. It will make a little more noise than a normal blackcat but won't be blowing any computers up.

If you can post a pic of it, although I'm fairly certain.

What he said. It's probably a tiny firecracker with no more power than the ones in strings. That means you're not going to be doing much damage with it.

I don't have a picture of it, but it's roughly 3 inches tall and about an inch in diameter. I thought that was called an M-1000 (that is what we've always called them). I thought the M-80s were about 1.5 inches tall and about .75 inches in diameter. Hopefully it does some damage.

Thing is M-1000 are still legal, M-80s are illegal, due to there like a 16th of a stick of dynamite.

There's a legal limit to how much powder can be in a firecracker of any kind... The M1000's and M80's that are sold today have the same amount of powder as your standard black cat... That's not to say that you couldn't practice your pyrotechnics and make your own

Don't you have to have some kind of permit for that? Can anyone just walk into the gun shop and ask for powder?

50mg in anything that stays on the ground, 200mg airborne I believe. States can limit it further if they so choose.

You have to have a FOID card, or just have a buddy buy it for you, you can just take the fuses off of other things, or just get some diesel fuel and fertalizer.... that is always a fun mix. Oh yeah, that fuse on it too will work underwater, I do it all the time, ever shoot bottle rockets underwater? Same effect, same fuse.

Besides, this is probably one of the better threads this week. There comes a point in a forums life when a lot of the really fun topics get taken, beaten, and beaten again. At that point, everytime someone posts something even remotely similar there are cries of "repost". So honestly, if you don't want to take the time to make your ub3r-sw33t thread, don't bash on thers. Ok?
