haha that is very nice. Give it a name! What type of wood is that? I play with my alvarez ad60... haha and I also play drums. Want to make me a high tom drum ?

haha, very nice. I have never seen anyone home make a guitar from scratch before. Should be one great present.

Hey, not a bad idea. I could use another floor tom
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

thats pretty cool. Hopefully it sounds great. I really cant tell how big it is but it looks fairly large. The huge ones allways sound great. I play guitar, im learning but i can play msot stuff. Make sure you get like a high gloss finish on that thing, itll make it shine great!

I was actually thinking about making a drum. It would be really hard to get a perfect 360 degree bend in the wood though. As I said in the first post, the sides and back are zebrawood, and the top is honduran mohogany.

I've made drums before, being a drummer. However, I buy the shells online. All of the drilling, porting, stuff like that, I do myself. And using an auger on an acrylic shell to port is something I will never put myself through again.
