    Ouch.

Not a powerbomb, looks like a Rock Bottom!

LoL, that's hilarious. The guy from Iowa didn't even seem excited. If I didn't know it better I'd think he was on meth or something!

Sorry for not keeping up on Pro-Wrestling players, but who does the "rock bottom!" ?

        Sounds like a sexy move

i was expecting the little guy to win just bc of the odds against him.
who ever said "its not whether you win or lose..." probably lost.

all those hours spent practicing kicks after kicks...

                  ki-aye after ki-aye...

                  board breaking after board breaking...

All but useless after a well timed double-leg takedown, guard pass, side mount, and beautiful power Rock Bottom.

Although the finishing move is not my preference (i like rear naked chokes, arm locks, etc.), it was certainly entertaining to say the least.

It was a really sloppy pass too. The double-leg was nice, but...it was just a torriana and then a hop, but since the little guy had no idea what was going on he passed him with no problem. It seems almost... unsportsmanlike to finish the fight like that though. He could have choked, he had an arm bar open. The headlock the little guy had was worthless. all he had to do was drop his weight onto the guy and taken the arm. It depresses me that a jiu jitsu guy would pull a power move, I guess. His finish wasn't necessary, and it doesn't look like he had it under control (since he was so worried after).

Although it was fun to watch.

That was pretty cool to watch. I could tell from the introduction that the little guy was going to get splattered... and well it happened sooner then I thought it would.

*heads to PS2 to play some Smackdown Vs Raw*

oh and J&C... submissions can be cool but can really slow down a match... which can get boring. Give me a solid powerbomb (Last Ride *Undertaker's* move) anyday. Although the one submission I love is a single leg crab... nothing like making ones foot touch their face.
                      Sorry, I'm old

In a situation or fight like that, you do whatever is needed to prevail.

I'm with fishy on this one... Travis is a big bad mofo with A LOT of MMA experience. This was the other dude's first MMA fight ever...?

Travis could have easily taken the guy's back and submitted him via choke. IMHO a much more civilized way to dispose of someone who obviously is clueless in the MMA ring.

But RoadDawg, I agree a little bit regarding the "boring part". AS A SPECATOR, the advanced intricacies of a highly skilled grappling match can be boring to the untrained eye. No doubt everyone can relate to and appreciate a nice brute force method technique such as the "Rock Bottom" muhahaha!

Also, in case you didn't notice, the bigger guy was walking with a pronounced limp. He was NOT fighting at 100%. I think he just wanted to get the fight over with fast, before the skinny guy could get at his legs.
