    Router question

Anyway after living in the stone age for well ages my parents finally got cable enernet and we are using a wireless router i was just wondering if the router exchanges any info from computer to computer other then the connection..like files and such.

    Anyone know?

yeah, ur network folders and such and all ur "shared" folders, stuff like that.

potentially everything though if somebody knew what they were doing. I dont know much about this stuff though somebody else will likely give you a better answer.

u have to network the two comps. and make sure you only allow those 2 comps on the connecton so no one can get on your wireless.

If you have file and printer sharing enabled then yes, you can share files betweent the two.

Also make sure you have some kind of security on the wireless network. I cant tell you how much fun I have had wardriving around and finding peoples networks. I was really suprised about how many people leave their networks unprotected.
