Well, here is my situation:
My wife and i were talking about buying a home, but we have realized that it isn't going to happen for about another year. So we are going to get an appartment and we found one we really like.
Heres the problem: I have been using Cable internet for the past year through Comcast and love it. Then i decided we dont use the phone much, so to save a little money we got Vonage VoiP and got rid of verizon as our phone service.
However, the new appartments do not have comcast as their cable provider. They have their own cable system (this is a nationwide property management company) and we still get all the same channels we do through comcast, but it does not support internet
. So this leaves me with haveing to look to Verizon or something like them for DSL 
. Moreover that means i have to get a dedicated land line phone service for the DSL wich makes my Voip pretty much useless.
Help me AO, your my only hope. i turn to you guys because perhaps there is some mirracle that will make all the parts fall into place, and i know you guys have all sorts of crazy knowledge.
but alas, i have a feeling i'm screwed and will have to go with phone line and DSL
maybe i'll get lucky and my neighbor has wireless and i can jack free internet from them
