It's getting to the point where you'll need to have the gas door wired into the anti theft system, ala The Road Warrior.
I'm almost afraid of the cost of a tank of premium for my 7 Litre Galaxie.

              get one with a key.
They make some with a combination lock.

You can do that, just use one of the negative triggers in your security system. You would have to be careful not to have any sparks around there and figure out a good way of doing it.

Try filling up a 35 gallon tank in a truck with a 7.4 liter. Grrrrrrrrrr. I thought oil was the whole reason we took over Iraq, jesh.

try filling up a 7.3L (444 cubic inch (just for you skife)) diesel with two tanks totaling around forty gallons together!

Oh wait... it's not that bad, cause my diesel is FREE! WOOT!

7 Litre is the model designation and engine size.

                        Kev,

what year is that? I assume a 67 or 68. It's a damn boat. You need to bring that to the next event you are going to

Yeah, I also have a 1970 Cutlass S with a 350 ROCKET. Sorry, but it's not a Cutlass if it doesn't have a rocket under the hood ... oh, and it has to be painted gold

For those metrically challenged, 7.4 liter translates to 454 cubic inches. You know the funny part? The only thing that's broken so far in my truck after 8 years is the fuel pump I just wish they hadn't put it in the gas tank. I sure don't miss carburators though on those cold cold New England mornings. Vortec baby!

Yes it's a one year only model based on the Galaxie body (1966), built to showcase the newly introduced 428. A nice luxury sport with a low production number.
Muz, I'm thinking of bringing it to AO Canada.
Just think of the bodies,,,,,, errr paintball gear you can stuff in here.
