Sorry, but it's no Ghost in the Shell.

Best shows I've ever seen:
1) Cowboy Bebop (well duh)
2) Full Metal Alchemist (very good show, if you haven't seen it yet, do so)
3) Trigun ($$60,000,000,000 reward, 'nuff said)
4) Berserk (how can you not love a show with body counts over 100 per episode, delivered with a 10' sword? You can't.)
Ghost in the Shell just creeps me out in a general manner. Plus, they tear up that hot chick at the end, and that just ain't right.

Samurai Shamploo (from the makers of Cowboy BeBop)... similar voice overs good stuff
Big 0 (for its action only.... )
S-Cry-Ed is a new fav of mine (action only).
ROBOTECH ! HELLLOOO!
Blue Seed Six or whatever that show was... alien takeover. Very short series last summer... dunno what happened to it.Comment

The art and voice overs are great, but the four or five eps I've seen have left me with this kinda "Hmmmm . . . . . . . " feeling. Its not jump up and down good (plot wise), but its not so bad that I don't want to watch it either. I like the dialoge, kinda formal with modern slang thrown in at random intervals.
Big-O, now here is a randomly plotless show for you. They start out with such a great premise, and then totally fall on their faces. I have watched it all the way through (or at least all that Cartonn Network has the rights to), and I can honestly say that I wanted my time back afterwards. Wonderfully drawn though, gotta give them that.
S-Cry-Ed is one I have not watched but once. It kinda felt like Inuyasha or one of a hundred other shows. I wasn't exceptionally impressed.
Never seen Robotech or BlueSeed.
I always seem to get disappointed by the briefness of most anime series. Take Berserk for instance. That was a great show, death, destruction, etc, and they took an entire season to tell the back story, and kick off what would have been a nearly endless supply of bad guy snuffing eps. And then . . . . . . . nothing. They tell the back story, and get cancelled. WTF? That happens so often. Like Cowboy Bebop. Dead in one season (and it was a damned good show). By the time you get settled into the story, its over.
Its like all of Japan has ADD or something when it comes to cartoons (which, I guess, may not be far from the truth . . . . . . ).Ryan Shanks

Boy, you got that one right. Every time I watch it I set there with a funny look on my face, quitely repeating to myself "WTF?" "WTH is going on?" "Where the hell did that guy come from?" "Did that just come out of his forehead?" "WTF?"Originally posted by magman007. . . . .
