No he said controled. There is no control in Boston. I was behind a woman on the Jamaicaway yesterday and because she had her flashers on she was able to run all the red lights.

lol, they don't have motorcycle gangs there, their gangs consist of one guy on a Harley, and a dozen on Vespas! At least that's the way it was in La Mad.

They also have a smaller population and GNP. We ought t be able to do the same thing only on a smaller scale. I'm not saying all our highways need to be like the autobahn, just the areas of the interstate in between towns.

Which towns? The PA turnpike has an exit every 15 or so miles. That is a tad to close together to have an unlimited speed limit.

Drive like one does in mexico, honk before running a light, after running a light, right as you almost side swipe someone, or if you're driving 10mph over in the wrong lane.

Oh and honk every 5 minutes just so everyone knows you're there and a good driver.

Well 105 in a 55 in GA gets you 900 dollars and a 6 mont suspension

When I drove from CA to SC I had a different philosophy. I tried to make sure that I was driving about the median speed. I passed half the vehicles and half of them passed me. Of course, this works better when there are enough cars.

                  Have fun.

Pulled over 17 times in the last 18 months in Pa.. got off on all of them except for 2. those two cost me around 700$ combined.. Now that I think of it I was on my way to Paint ball both times... Something seems wrong here.. play paint ball get ticket, don't play paint ball cop lets me go.. hmmmm...

the state boys that I know say the basic rule of thumb is 7 over. except in construction zones, which Pa is full of... sooo, have a pregnat blow up doll in the car and just tell the cop she really wanted to have the baby at one of the best hospitals in the us.

On the interstates in Pa keep it 75 or less and you will be fine, however pay a little closer attention around the towns and what not they are a little more strict ( I was once pulled over and ticketed for 61 in a 55 on route 8). But then again I have the absolute worst luck for speeding tickets, I have been pulled over 3 times since I got my licence, ticketed all 3, cops just don't like me for some reason.

True but unfortunately the survivability of children who are hit by vehicles hasnt improved much since about 1920, they went a lot slower back then (insert Austin powers versus the steamroller clip here)

There is such a thing as risk compensation as well. That's why crashes haven't really declined since the introduction of ABS for example ... people drive faster and brake later.

You know, in some parts of the world they're experimenting with no street signs and no traffic laws and allowing cyclists, pedestrians and motorists to all share the same road. It seems to work so far. The thought is that a person running downhill is going about 20mph so the human brain can respond very quickly to traffic situations at or below 20mph. Also, if you drive 20mph *all the time* without stopping you get places quicker than going 40, stopping, going 40, stopping. So the point is to creat a situation where you have to pay attention, and are constantly driving 20mph.

It seems counterintuative but allowing kids to play in the streets might actually be better.

Cranberry police just got a grant and bought new radars. They seem to like the accuracy and being able to pull people over for going five over.

Plus if you get caught speeding badly, you can actually get enough points from ONE TICKET to lose your license here.

Yugoslavian taxi drivers > Italian taxi drivers

They are both absolutely nuts. The Italians are nicer though; merges and letting people pass go well. East Europe.... tis pretty scary.
