      By the time the backs break down on mine, the rest of the shoe is pretty heavily worn too, so I would need a new pair soon regardless.

        also some people dont like getting their feet dirty, and they go inside and outside a lot u know, between the garden etc, and it takes a lot of time to put on your shoes and tie them properly that frequently.

        i used to be a pure slipper (except my various sports shoes, i wast that emo lol) before i got a sense of class and bought shoes that were meant to be slippers, but that was the reason why, i hate getting my feet dirty, uck.
