Non-lethal weapons have no place in an active battlefield imo.

Say what you like, I'll err on the side of the US trooper everytime. And to put them in a position where they can not, or are given a system that may get them killed and or wounded, is unacceptable to me.

I've read that the only time you should have less-lethal defenses is when there's another soldier (or officer) with lethal defenses to back it up.

Sometimes, stupidity should kill and innocence/ignorance isn't a defense.

Running close to a convoy, rushing through a check point, throwing rocks at tanks (when others are shooting from behind you), running from police after a terrorist attack.

While regrettable, deaths in those circumstances are deserved. Harsh but true. Very simple to follow and easy to comprehend concepts on the part of the "victims" would prevent their own deaths.

It's not SEEN it is SAW in this case!! Sorry but it just bugs me. You use SAW when you're talking about a specific instance in time (simple past tense) and SEEN is used for a non-specific time generally (present perfect or past perfect tense, ie I have seen that car before)
