Go cart exhaust?

UM is it got a threaded exhuats port like a lawn mower engine?

If so ya can do what i did for my mini bike and run a STRAIGHT piped exhuat system with steel pluming pipe (forgot the size was 3/4 or 1" cant remeber).

With a go kart, a tuned pipe is best. It looks like a straight pipe, but it steps up in diameter at certain distances from the motor. It is designed to lower the pressure in the pipe, to better draw fuel in to the cylinder. While a straight pipe will roar at higher RPMs, a tuned pipe will "sing". I'll try and scan some pictrures of my kart later.

I'm guessing that his engine is a 4 stroke engine and therefore a tuned pipe won't help a whole lot... BUT if it is a 2 stroke engine then he should definately get a tuned pipe.

I run a B&S 4 cycle, and I make 16 horses at 10,000 rpm. The tuned pipe helps.

The engine on the go-cart is made by Honda. And its not the stock engine, nor is it a go-cart engine. That might make it a bit difficult to find one for it.

Where u bolt the exaust on it now is exacly like that... the first picture
