    My VIDEO BROKE!

    OMFG! I'm getting pissed off. All of a sudden all video output on my computer is MESSED UP badly. I mean movie clips like .wmv's, .movs, .avi, anything and everything. It looks white and messed up, like it has been inverted and reduced to 3 colors and increased brightness or some kind of crap. No matter what player I use!

    I have a sneaky suspicion that it had to do with the new Nvidia drivers I just installed. I've been putting it off forever, but I finally put them in, and while I cant be SURE thats exactly when this problem started, it was within the day. I wish I could remember but im almost positive. I have a GeForce 5200 FX.

    System Specs:

    Windows XP SP2
    P4 2.8 GHz
    DirectX 9.0
    GeForce FX 5200

    ... and I cant remember anything else. Maybe a gig or two of ram, I have no idea anymore. Sigh does anyone have ANY idea what the problem could be? I can't seem to pinpoint this to anything...

    It's easily fixable.

    Desktop->Settings->Advanced->GeForce->Color Correction->"Apply color changes to:" = All.

    All done.

      Easy test

      Reboto... start tapping F8 as soon as you see a screen... select SAFE MODE (which will use the generic WINDOWS supplied drivers), same problem?

      Yes: Something else
      No: Its the drivers, remove them from ADD/REMOVE programs and go back to NVIDIA's site and download the previous version.
      Its a wakeup call for the Nintendo generation
      GregHastingsPaintball 3 is coming
